All rights are reserved.

  6. CHARGES.

The client agrees to pay the hourly charges as notified by Double M Care Services Ltd. at the start of the service and as may be adjusted during the service. The charges are calculated based on the number of hours worked by the worker, rounded up to the nearest quarter-hour. The minimum hours charged will be 4 hours for a General Care Assistant and 6 hours for a Nurse, Senior, or Healthcare Assistant shift. The charges include the worker’s remuneration (including holiday pay under the Working Time Regulations 1998), Double M Care Services Ltd.’s fees, National Insurance Contributions, and any additional travel or other expenses agreed upon with the client. VAT is payable on the entire amount of charges, except for Healthcare Units that employ Nursing Staff.

    1. The client will receive weekly invoices for the charges and must pay the full amount within 14 days of the invoice date, without any reduction, set-off, or deduction. The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 applies to this contract, and Double M Care Services Ltd. is entitled to charge interest at 5% on all overdue sums. If the client fails to make full payment in accordance with these terms, Double M Care Services Ltd. reserves the right to pass the debt to a nominated collections agency, which may add a 15% fee to the balance, along with any legal costs incurred. The full debt will then be payable to the collections agency, and the client will not be able to correspond with Double M Care Services Ltd. until the matter is resolved. Double M Care Services Ltd. also reserves the right to immediately withdraw the services of any workers without liability if the client defaults on payment. In the event of default, the holder of the invoice may, without notice or demand, declare the entire outstanding amount immediately due and payable.

    2. The client understands the significance of maintaining a consistent cash flow for Double M Care Services Ltd. and the fact that the timely remuneration of its workers, including the worker assigned to the client under these terms, depends on the accuracy of the time sheets submitted by the worker.

  7. TIME SHEETS.

At the conclusion of each week of service, or upon completion of the service if it is for one week or less, the client must sign Double M Care Services Ltd.’s time sheet to confirm the number of hours worked by the worker during that week. The time sheets are a crucial aspect of the agreement and play a significant role in the functioning of Double M Care Services Ltd. The client acknowledges the importance of timely and accurate completion of the time sheets.

The client’s signature on Double M Care Services Ltd.’s time sheet serves as conclusive evidence in any proceedings of the client’s satisfaction with the worker’s services and the number of hours worked. Failure to sign the time sheet does not relieve the client’s responsibility to pay the charges for the recorded hours worked.

  8. REMUNERATION.

Double M Care Services Ltd. assumes the responsibility for paying the worker’s salary, including holiday pay, as per the Working Time Regulations 1998, and making the necessary deductions for National Insurance Contributions and PAYE Income Tax.

  9. INTRODUCTION CHARGES.

If the client hires a worker who was provided by Double M Care Services Ltd. within the past 3 months on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis, even for just one day, without informing or obtaining the agency’s prior consent, the client agrees that the introduction was made by the agency regardless of any other recruitment circumstances and the agency reserves the right to charge the client a fee equal to 300 times the worker’s hourly rate.
